Amtrak to Portland

Tonight I left San Jose for Portland Oregon. About 675 miles - approximately 12 hours by car, 2 hours by plane, and 19 hours by Amtrak... I have my own berth, meals are free (2 of them) and I get a chance to relax, catch up on my reading and watch the world slowly go by.

I'll be in Oregon for 5 days visiting a dear friend. That means my 500th will come from there.
