This is our beach

Such a different beach from the ones we have been used to over the past few weeks, but this one is ours. They're about to spend oodles of monies to repair the crumbling sea wall and steps along the section behind that lies behind the camera. Mind you the breakwaters are not exactly in great condition either.

With everybody else doing other *important* things, Emma and I were left at a loose end, so we went and did a little geocaching (only found the one, which disappointed E) and then popped down to the beach. Hardly a soul here, even though the sun is warm, the tide behaving itself and the beach cafe only a stone's throw away for that vital ice cream or cup of tea.

Tomorrow is the Clacton Air Show, which we usually pop over to watch. Usually good for some nice photos too. However, the weather forecast does not look good and the Red Arrows will not be flying for obvious reasons. It sounds like everybody going to the show is going to wear something red as a mark of respect.
