Cataratas del Iguazú

My waterlogged camera came back to life this morning, thankfully.

The best thing about staying in the National Park is the location - it's the only hotel* in the park and so close to the various trails.

After breakfast (which today was served in the function room for some IT resellers convention...) we headed off along the Upper Circuit.

The lower circuit would have been interesting too - but I learnt my lesson from yesterday - that route was exposed to the full force of days of heavy rain - lots of spray!

The views from this side are amazing too - I actually think I prefer the Argentinian side, but nice to visit Brazil and get ANOTHER stamp in my passport :)

And then it was back for the lunchtime LAN flight to Aeroparque - through check in, security, onto the plane and take off. Nice and simple.

(*Apart from the 'old hotel' which empty and is looking a bit dilapidated. And is actually a tad freaky - maybe send in the Most Haunted crew to investigate. The Administracion de Parques Nacionales Argentina should preserve this landmark as a museum or have it restored into a 'boutique' character hotel...)
