football fun

well a better day today.... a football tour around Ns favourite football ground... Sheffield United... well apparently its his second ... but thought it would be cheaper than a trip to Barcelona!!

Here is N with Tony Currie... he did the tour himself... he was a huge Sheffield United star of the 70s and 80s... told us many backroom stories including how they never went in the ice cold huge bath back then... they just had a quick shower and went straight to the players lounge for a pint or two!!...also where many a player stopped in halftime to have a smoke... unreal... anyhow toured the dressing rooms... sadly there were no players for me!.all the backroom stuff .. the tunnel and onto the pitch... N loved it all...

apparently Sheffield Uniteds ground is the oldest ground in the world... thought that was quite a cool fact... and also that they have to walk 7 miles twice a week to cut the grass.. sorry boring fact!!

then had an afternoon in the park and onto karate tonight... think N has had a pretty good day all round!..
