Stone cutter

I popped in to a stonemason's today to get a quote for some work. The owner told me that the business has been in his family for over 220 years, and that the property deeds show a stonemasons on the site as far back as the 1700s.

This cutter was bought by the current owner's father in the 1930s and is still in use today. Underneath the cutter is a bomb shelter that was built during World War II. The space is now used as a reservoir for the water that's needed to cool the cutter blade.
