Unusual #10 - Theft

Discovery
The day started okay. Nice and sunny weather, a tough walk, a tasty cuppa, a lovely chat with my best friend and a well done haircut at the hairstylist ... ;)
On my way I saw a wheel on a big, heavy chain. It was fastened at a stainless steel rack. Belonged undoubtedly to a scooter, but no scooter in sight ...

Presentation
Recently there was an investigation on the theft of scooters (and bikes). The numbers of stolen vehicles like these are alarming. Owners are warned by radio, television, newspaper: be sure your expensive property is well locked.
This owner has obviously done her/his best. Locked and double locked the scooter. But her/his best seemed to be not good enough ...
'Unusual' is that this wheel, complete with disc brake, was left behind. The thief must have had a desperate need for a part of the vehicle ...

Progress
It's a pity that the knowledge and respect of what's yours or mine is badly fading away. Continuously looking for new ways to defend your properties. It should be unusual that there's a need for that ... ;(
