Woodpigeon

A great day ended with another great gig at the Queens Hall.

Starting with Neil Pennycook from Mersault, very trimmed down sound, just a piano and his banjo, but no hiding the great lyrics and fantastic voice.
Next up Woodpigeon(pictured), with a very different sound and a great use of looping sounds from both vocal and guitar.
Eagleowl, were next, a band I have listened to but this was the first time I have seen them live and they were excellent, as expected they fitted the low-fi bill very nicely and came to an end with a great post rock climax.
I don't really have to say anything about headliner Withered Hand, he was brilliant.

Here is some Woodpigeon
