In The Occupied Territory

All the love in the world

Back home now after 6 days in County Durham. I really love the North East of England, not just beautiful, but the people are friendly and there is so much to do and see. Sometimes so much that you are spoiled for choice.
We left mid-morning and met up with Stevaan who had to go into work at his school today to give the pupils their GCE results. His school got 79% marks in them which a stunning improvement over 4/5 years when it was down around 40%.
Anyway he picked up Euan , who is his youngest son, and the eldest of his twins, the other being Annabel He is really such a loving child, and the gentlest of all our grand-children.
They are polar opposite from each other, she is blonde, right handed and blue eyed, whilst he is left handed with darker hair and eyes.
we met for lunch at Heighley Gate. I had a delicious Northumberland delicacy, a Stottie with hot beef and gravy.
