are you?

I am very lucky to share the WONDERFUL* journey of motherhood with a marvellous group of like minded friends - all of whom had the good grace to have children around the same time as me. Nice, innit?!

The benefits of this is that we were all friends before hand (some more aquaintances, but firm friends now) so we have shared history and a past - we know each others weaknesses (wine), we know each other's boundaries (never enough wine) and we know how to get the best out of each other (wine).

I sometimes think it would be better for us all if we stopped hanging out together and found some good, clean living Christian friends - but the trouble with that is most likely the lack of wine excellent, real chat and support. So we shall carry on unabashed and enjoy the company and journey (and wine) together.

A little trip up to Mirazozo at the festival (google it - I'd link it but my computer is about to explode) - it's the big dome with all the cool lights and sounds in it with the babies / children was had and a truly lovely day had by all. If you haven't checked out the Red Box Noodle Bar up near the Uni I'd recommend it highly.

The day ended with getting caught in the rain (no rain cover), seeking solace at our friends hotel and drinking far too much red wine in the name of shelter. Not the charity obviously. Ah but it was an excellent, lovely, slightly skewiff, wonderful day none the less.

*please read 'wonderful' with only slight sarcastic undertones...thank you
