Fun house

The Nairn Games had a wonderfully sunny day. After a morning's walk with dad and Benny the levitating dog, I headed to Nairn with Mum and Rory. We met up with Uncle Ian and Auntie Sheena and followed the pipers (nine bands in all) through the centre of Nairn to the Links, where we perched on a hill to watch the opening events of the games. The smell of chips was just too much of a temptation so we abandoned the Highland dancing competition to stuff ourselves with unhealthy snacks.

Of course, once we were in the fairground, we had to look at the magic mirrors, play Kentucky Derby, hook a duck, try out the fun house and bash each other on the dodgems. We did take a little time out to sit in the glorious sun on Nairn beach.

A fabulous day.
