It almost ate my head!

This morning I went to let the dogs out into the garden and in my half asleep state wandered out into the conservatory behind them. I stopped literally centimetres from this thing with its eyes being level with my own.

I can deal with most beasties but anything as big as this that gets as close to my face just turns me to jelly. My hands were shaking that badly that I could barely get any in focus photo!

Eurgh *shudder*
