What Riots?

Went into Central Manchester today to see the Vodaphone McLaren Event which is taking place from Saturday to Monday. The big event is that Jenson Button is driving his F1 car down one of the main streets on Monday. There is a FanZone run by Vodaphone so that any of their customers can gain free entry and have pictures taken with different cars and challenges, you can also join in Go Karting on the small but fantastic track in Albert Square.

Going back Monday to see the JB run so will post an F1 image that day. Have to make sure i have a microphone switched on so that i can hear the engine start up and it take off from the garage. Very excited indeed...

Didn't know it was also The Gay Pride Parade for 2011 day too. Some of the floats and banners were so funny and the people had made huge efforts to dress up the floats and themselves. I am sorry i can only show one image from the day. Have chosen to show an image from the Gay Pride march as i really loved the costumes and the spectacle. The Alice In Wonderland costumes are my favourite from the ones we saw.

There was nothing to show that there had been riots and disarray in the Town Centre only a few weeks ago. Everyone there was having a great time with the streets of Manchester once again holding a party and showing that they know how to have a good time. Shame i didn't see Frank Gallagher, now that would have been hilarious and wonderful as i am a huge Shameless fan.
