To the market!

Yesterday we spotted a stall selling large bags of 'everything for E1'. So we picked out French beans, tomatoes and peppers. Bargains galore!

The beans have been topped and tailed then blanched and are cooling off ready to be frozen. Half of the tomatoes I sliced in two, added chopped garlic and brushed them with olive oil and fresh pepper. They're currently roasting in the oven, the (chopped) peppers I will add about 10 minutes before the end of the cooking.

When the toms have cooled off, I'll blitz them together with some fresh basil and tonight we'll have tomato and pepper risotto.

Yum!
