The Red Shoes...

I wish I could tell these are dancing shoes. But unfortunately, they're not.

My mum broke her foot, and now she is doomed to wear these utterly unsexy, uncomfortable, heavy (metal arch support!) orthopaedic clown-shoes. And she has to wear the two of them, to keep the balance.

She doesn't like it at all, understandably. And I have to say, it REALLY looks funny. Above all when she is wearing a light summer dress.

Hang in there, mum! It could have been so much worse. And you're doing it very well...
