Snowy peak

The rain clouds have finally drifted away and exposed Mount Taranaki in all his splendour. The fresh fall of snow on the upper slopes contrasted magnificently against the deep blue of the sky, truly a sight to behold.

This is the North Face as seen from central New Plymouth.

Twigs blipped snow on some of the South Island mountains today.
