Memorial -Sir David Stirling, founder of the S.A.S

Coming back from Callender I stopped to take a photo of this memorial to Sir David Stirling, founder of the S.A.S

Brought up at Keir house, he had a distinguished military career and founded the S.A.S in 1941.

He died in 1990 and his ashes are scattered around Loch Morar.
