The eyes have it!

No prizes for guessing what I did today! I haven't had a test for two years but my eyes haven't deteriorated and the glasses i have for computer and reading are still good. My long distance is still 20/20.

I remember visiting the optometrist when I was in my early 40s and feeling smug when everything was good. He said that everything went downhill fast after 45 and he was quite correct. Glasses became necessary. Now I can't thread a needle without them and even then it is difficult. It is hard getting old :(
