Protective

On one of the routes I take for my lunchtime walks stands a house with a pair of these lions outside, one on guard either side of the doorway. They are perhaps a little ostentatious for a relatively modest house, but I just love 'em! As a child one of my favourite books was The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, and there's something about these lions which reminds me immediately of Aslan.
