lizard fence

We are growing 2 climbing jasmine and a climbing bleeding heart plant very near a small fence section we installed next to our patio. We pay some  attention to this area as we want to make sure the new climbers are getting established. The funny thing is when I check it out, the little lizards (or geckos) in our yard are often there. They seem to love this fence and are often scrambling around on it! We see new teeny tiny lizards, large dark Cuban ones running along the top edge but stopping to enlarge their dewlap (orange throat area) . . . . and pretty striped or diamond patterned  medium size ones. I love to watch them. Sometimes I swear they are watching me!!
