Meet Franny Thorburn my lovely talented friend whose song You Are is one of my favourite.

She tells me a wonderful story about being broke and going out busking and meeting an American man who is over to give a concert and gives her a ticket. She goes and is revived and discovers that the American is best friends with one of her best friends. The evening is full of co-incidences and they bond. He leaves but keeps in touch ... they meet randomly when he flys over and she gets some acting work in River City so has some money and flys over to see their mutual friend in a show on Broadway but is also wined and dined by the American and meets various rich and famous Americans. He's in the middle of writing a new musical for NTS so she's hoping there may be a part for her in it. It sounds like the start of something magical and special (not romantically!)

Brad Pitt is filming in Glasgow so there's a bit of a strange atmosphere. I end up giving money to Plan ... not sure why but it feels right.

Drive up to Arisaig and manage to get the last plot on the most stunning campiste ever... right on the edge of the beach. Pitch my tent just as the sun starts to set so rush off with my camera and spend the evening happily snapping the sun setting. It's just stunning. So happy to be back in the wilds of Scotland. Peace, Nature, Beauty .... love it.
