Kayakers at Nick's Cove

What a lovely day. We started by tasting local cheese at Cowgirl Creamery in Point Reyes station and then driving up Tomales Bay to Hog Island Oyster Farm. We polished off 2 dozen freshly shucked oysters and then traveled on to Marshall. We had a wonderful lunch at Nick's Cove. The fried oysters were outstanding and the Dungeness crab roll was even more delicious accompanied by truffled garlic french fries.
We went on to a historic bakery nearby and then to a local cheese factory before returning to Blackthorne.
