The fool on the hill

Getting there

I'm still way short of being able to wheelie for more than 10 feet (maybe 15 a couple of times) but it feels great when everything is balanced and almost stable. I found that thinking about balancing on the back wheel rather than raising the front seems to result in more success. The great thing is you can't hurt yourself - if it goes too far just step off the back.

Edit: Bloody hell Joe you were right.
Handy hint: If you fall off the back don't apply the brake - the bike stops but you don't.

More edit: Do you think I'm mad? I wasn't holding the camera - it was hanging around my neck.
