Feet freak me out a little. I can cope with the perfect wee feet belonging to children, but big feet that have been squeezed into the wrong shoes and have never seen a pumice or been cared for in their lifetime is a big no no for me. I have to look away - fast!!

Our feet connect us with our surroundings. When I'm running and have got into a good rhythm, I can feel the power pushing up from my feet and it gives me a real buzz. When the weather is warm enough I like to go barefoot, feel the grass under my feet or the sand between my toes. It grounds me.
