Here's to the Bankstown Club, as some people calle

It's after 5 p.m.. I'm having my Saltram, Maker's Table, glass of Cab.Sav.. The Netherlands Society in Bankstown, started as a Dutch drama group, in south-western Sydney. Became a social club, helping Dutch immigrants get settled in (to Sydney).
In its 13th year my father became its president.
Twelve years later he'd had enough and the club might fold.
I became president, for one year. After that it lasted three more years.
It had fulfilled its mission. It was always stated, from the beginning that it ought to last just 25 years. It lasted 30.
