First outing

#1 daughter took #2 son and I to the local retail park this afternoon for a bit of a hobble round and a nice lunch in Pizza Hut. She managed to take the all-you-can-eat facility seriously as usual, and they let me have a children's meal (under 12s only) as I can't eat much just now. Turns out there's a free kids' meal with full-cost adult ones, so mine cost nothing, which hopefully will encourage her to do a repeat visit. Yesterday was a complete daze and the rest of today likewise, and fell asleep exhausted when we got back. Apologies for once more not looking at all my usual favourite journals and leaving comments. I have a feeling this is going to take some time to get over. Small steps.
