Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest height!

Ah, Mary Poppins. Always with the Disney references...yup. Anyway, it was a beautiful, sunny day here which is always welcome. The sun feels so good! I am trying to enjoy it while I can, as I know the winter will bring quite a few gloomy days. I decided to check out the library in town, found myself a new book to read (another Bill Bryson), and made my way over to the bay to read some scientific articles. What better place to read about the ocean than by the ocean? It was marvelous at the park. Beautiful views of Mount Baker (seen in the photo), and of the islands. Loved seeing everyone flying their kites too!
