Does anyone know how to work a mimeograph machine?

Edinburgh printmakers have presented Evan with a problem that he might just be defeated by - unheard of, I know....

This Mimeograph machine (ye olde photocopier to you and me) appears to be a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic... Anyone know how to fix them? Answers on a postcard...
