Gascony farewell...

A gorgeous day greeted us, but I was back off to Blighty... before heading for Toulouse airport I snapped this memory of my brother and sister in law's lovely home.... an unconverted barn constructed of sturdy yellow stones, and sporting this latticework arrangement typical of the area.

I remembered the time when I spent a year hear helping my brother reroof this and the adjoining lofty barn.... tough work but fond memories of our banter on high!
