regrowth

Today Jones, Marty, Jenny, EKatz, Hil, Erin and I took a little ride. Our first stop was the burn site from the July 20th lightening tree. The inside of the trunk still lying there is totally black and charred. It amazes me though how quickly the green green grass has filled in what once was extremely black all around.
