One Year On

And it still feels like yesterday.
The day the earth shook.
Went into town to photograph birds in the muesum part of photography. Got some really good photographs hopefully my teacher will be pleased with them too.
Mum wanted to walk around the red zone just to see what had disappeared in the past 6 months. We got up to the fence by the bridge of rememberance. There were lots of flowers tied to the fence along with this red ribbon. Further along the fence was a note. It was from parents of a girl who had died in the February quake, wishing her a happy 24th birthday. Unbelievably over whelmed with emotion at that point.

Oh how sunny little Christchurch has changed forever
