I'm doing okay

Despite the bags under his eyes induced from arriving home late after our journey on Friday. Well, a lovely sunny day, a picnic in the park and the freedom to run around and build dens with lots of your best little buddies who you haven't seen for over a month will do that for you. Oh, and your dad and Uncle C heading off to provide fresh pizza just at the point when flagging may happen and you need another energy boost. There was standing around chatting and lying around chatting for the grown-ups and much running around, an impromptu sports' day for the kids* and finally some avant-garde theatre production the kids entertained us with.

Before we wended our weary way home to lie around on the sofa catching up on the new series of Doctor Who.
