Passing through ...

I had started the train journey from Glasgow. I was on the way to York to stay with my cousin for a few days.

The journey wasn't bad, had a window seat, a book to read, my social media to catch up on ... and the obligitory crisps and juice to keep the old tum at bay.

The real excitement was happening outside ... I had already missed a cracker of the Scott Monument as I passed through into Waverley station in Edinburgh ... so I was determined I was going to get at least one blip:)
... This was taken just after leaving Berwick Upon Tweed ... very picturesque. Just another 2 hours to go until York
