Acle Station

Acle Station on the so-called Wherry Line between Norwich and Great Yarmouth, is a remarkably intact Great Easter Railway station, opened in 1883.

The canopy and GER spandrels remain and the buildings are in good condition. They are now holiday lets with antique sign reproductions attached to them.

Amazingly the signalling and points are controlled from a small signal box with levers connected to point rodding and signal wires.
