A guiding hand?!

Back to school today! This is the small garden at the front of the building.

The statue was made many years ago and represents a teacher guiding a child, looking into the future. However... it has been said it looks like an adult with arm around the neck of a child looking for it's parent! (And obviously this doesn't represent the views of the school!) What do you think?!

The small monkey puzzle tree was planted by Christine Walkden when she visit our school to help celebrate the centenary last year, I hope it doesn't die!
