Scottish New Music Awards 2011

Cerazzy, shambolic and occasionally baffling, the SNMA burst into life at the Classic Grand in Glasgow tonight.

Some great acts, some strange choices and an unfulfilled promise to play cos they were running early.

Good fun.

As befits any birth, it was messy and at times painful, but they are here.

And we were nominated for Best Record of the Year.

And didn't win.

But had a Loser's Party BEEP BEEP all the way home.
