Sorbus kohneana "White wax"

This is a Korean relative of the Rowan tree or Mountain Ash, but carries these white waxy berries from late summer into winter, when they show up even more against the bare branches.

They do, however, trend to drop off onto the lawn, which makes grass cutting a "crunchy" affair.

The blackbirds and thrushes love them too.
