Woods near Penicuik House

Today could have been a day in November weatherwise, with wind, rain and so cold the stove has been lit. I had to go to the library in Penicuik and on the way home drove past these very dark woods with a view of light through them. This reminded me for some reason of a natural cathedral with leaded windows. So stopped the car and took some picture. This was the one I like best and it has been dramatized a bit more in Photoshop for the finished result.
