Duty Free

We had lots to do this morning before setting off for the airport.
I had booked flights to Montpellier from Birmingham airport as it was £450 cheaper than flying from Gatwick (for the three of us). I thought that as Birmingham is only an hour and 10 minutes from Euston, it wouldn't take us that much longer to get there. We bought some snacks for the plane at M&S Euston station. We're flying Ryanair so we decided to go hand luggage only. The girls were not too keen on Ryanair (the mad dash to get a seat and the lack of free drinks). Very different to their experience of arriving in Heathrow with BA the day before yesterday. Daughter #1 did not feel too well on the plane (never does) and couldn't eat her sandwich. We arrived in Montpellier just before 8pm local time and were met at the airport by my friend Renaud who drove us to his house.

Exactly two years ago my son started secondary school . I can't believe he will be entering his third year on Monday. He has changed so much.
