Deeside Diaries

Memories...

This one is by special request following on from yesterdays special birthday.

Many years ago, a group of uni friends and I went to a little concert you may have heard of... these are a few of the things I have save from that day - in the middle, the ticket stub, the programme and the folded paper is an addendum to the program running schedule - I added it so you can see where we sat.

The view from our seats was a bit distant but after squeezing down to the field I managed to get some (rather poor I admit) shots of a few of the acts.

Photos on the left, top is 'Do they know it's Christmas' from the end of the evening with Paul McCartney on piano, Bob Geldof & Midge Ure (of course), David Bowie and the woman with the amazing voice, Alison Moyet. Bottom is Dire Straits with Sting doing 'Money for Nothing'.

Photos on the right are from the Queen segment - top is the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' intro and the bottom is the 'Radio Gaga' follow on.

Briliant day.
