The Day Irene Came To Visit

The tail end of Hurricane Irene hit today. Britain doesn't do really really bad weather despite our love of moaning about it. It was wet enough and blowy enough to get me soaked when walking the dog though. The rain was horizontal and made taking photos particularly difficult.

This was the best I could do, but hopefully captures the force of the wind. I am just amazed that the council put the Union Flag up the right way for once!
