White Door

The house I grew up in and called home for 20 years had a white door.

Just before my 21st birthday, my parents sold the house to much regret.
I still dream of that house.

Five years ago today I moved into my new home with Paul.
When we moved in, this home had a green wooden door but 18 months ago when we got double-glazing, the door was changed to a white door.

Funnily enough, I passed my old home last week.
The new owners have painted the old door green.
It's weird how things change.
