Hibiscus

Early this morning the sun made a brief appearance, it did not stay long and by 1000 hours it was another dull overcast day.

This hibiscus usually flowers earlier than this; maybe it has been rather too cold this year for it. I have another shrub the same as this one, but it has never flowered. Strange.
