Jakub From Prague

This handsome lad works at our local gourmet deli. He has been wanting to buy a Dslr for some time and we have been discussing lenses and camera bodies a bit over the past few weeks. He loves macro best and hopes to learn how to light paint over the next year. He is only in town a few more weeks before returning to Prague to continue studying for his degree in economics. He is a professional hockey player back home but dreams of playing in a jazz/electronica band. He'd like to buy a VW van and spend the next few years travelling through Europe. Which is a scenario many of the young people I photograph fantasise about. I hope he gets his chance.

Jakub is wonderfully photogenic but not the most natural model. I had to work hard to coax expression out of him. I really wish I were funnier. It would really come in handy on days like today.

Crazy sexy dancer. This woman moves like liquid gold. Apparently she specialises in teaching hooping for pregnant woman, which I find most intriguing after watching this clip.
