I tried taking the bus to school today to feel just a little less environmental guilt about the 1.5 gallons of gas (30 lbs of C02) it usually takes to get there every day. This also provides a unique opportunity to sit awkwardly close to the interesting people who generally ride the bus, the better to appreciate the full bouquet à odours.

Of course, the bike rack was full on the way home, making the decision easy to cycle home, rather than wait the hour and a half until the next bus came.

All told, $1.50 and ~15 miles of exercise, not bad.
