Mad Dogs and.......compost makers.

This year we made the best compost ever. Five barrow loads from one container which is more than enough to raise the beds in the greenhouse by a good four inches. Wow!

Making compost is one of the last magical things left and hugely satisfying if you get it right. I see were about a week ahead of last year.

I'm just thinking how boring this must be for most blippers but, it will make a huge difference to the quality and quantity our veggies.

Anyway, it's been a hot day but Mad Bad Dog Pasha felt he had to make the most of it and spent an hour this afternoon lying in the greenhouse where the temperature was around 49C and he was wearing a fur coat. Not a good decision.

He did get a bit overheated and couldn't eat but he's starting to perk up a bit now.
