Last Sunday in Paris

And thus begins the countdown of my last days in Paris. I will officially never spend a full Sunday living in Paris again. Felt a pretty picture of the Eiffel Tower was a nice way to commemorate this.

Had a lovely last Sunday - spent the night chez C, then went round to D's at lunchtime. We then went to meet K and F and went to WHSmith's on rue de Rivoli so I could buy eldest child a bday present - it's her birthday in two weeks! She'll be 10!! I found her an excellent present that I am sure she'll love - a Cath Kidston sewing book (and some Cadbury's chocolate buttons, of course!). She's really into sewing; she's made herself an amazing dress already and she's only 9.

After that, we wandered slowly to Breakfast In America - on a tourist bus that went via loads of famous monuments; an excellent last way to see everything! Had dinner at BIA (deeeelish) and then went to the Thistle to do the pub quiz. We came fourth, but the bartender decided he liked us so gave us free shots anyway! Pretty excellent.

T-6 days.
