Detail from "The Creature Pond" in Post Office Square. Apparently, to discourage vandalism, the sculpture was made "as lovable as possible"! Do we go round vandalizing our sculptures in Boston? I didn't know.

Anyway, it is quite enjoyable. The more you look, the more frogs, turtles, dragonflies etc you happen to see.

On the subject of frogs, Mr. Lightwave and I have been talking about going back to Costa Rica for Christmas vacation. We are thinking about visiting the Osa Peninsula this time.

In other news... rained all day today, thanks (I think) to tropical storm Lee, which is hovering out in the Atlantic.

Played squash. Won. :)
