Walkin' in the rain

Once again our morning walk was marred by precipitation.

"That fine rain that wets you through"

Tess doesn't seem to mind, the odd shake when the wet is persistent, but no whinging.

She doesn't wear glasses though and doesn't know she should;

"Pity, Oh pity, Oh pity my plight and all those who suffer from shortness of sight"

Once you are wet and your glasses are steamed up it's all a bit hopeless and dreary. Then, you have to go uphill in a narrow gully between barbed wire fences!

But hey, we got home dried off, gave the dog a bath and the sun came out. Son #2 came home we had lunch and a lovely sunny walk to the allotment. Then Son #1 came home, it's his birthday. We had take-away curry and now the young ones are out on the town.
