Karate Kid

Spent a big chunk of the day (4 hours) at a local sports centre while my youngest son took part in training and his first Karate grading.

I'd hoped to use the time to catch up on some quiet reading but I think I'd underestimated just how noisy a hall full of people practising this sport could be.

Just as well I was able to browse blips on my phone.

It was worth it all in the end - we now have a very proud orange belt in the family!
