This is a wind turbine my dad constructed to measure a theory he had about effective wind direction.

In the last ten years or so, my dad has become very into inventing and trying to find new ways to look at problems and patent the solutions. I have to say this is not a field that particularly interests me, but with my engineering background I've ended up involved nonetheless. It's a good way to stay in touch, I think.
